WHERE ARE THE LAIRDS NOW

Sorry Sandie, I used your title.  Seems suitable though.

We left Patterson and made it to Redding in good time.  We decided to stop for the night at Redding River RV park for one night.  The weather had another idea and the Siskayou Pass had snow.  We waited a day and it was gone.
Our site at Redding, big enough when no one is beside you but......

A fun shot of us following a milk tanker
It was sunny and bright, a perfect day for a picture of Mt. Shasta.  (believe me you have to take a lot to get one good photo).

There are other snow covered mountains like this one.  We don't know the name of this one.

So now we are in Florence, Oregon.  We really like Florence and have been here many times.  We used to tent camp here back in the day.  (don't you just hate that expression, cause what does it mean??).  We know our way around, know where the shopping is and know the notable eating establishments.

My favourite kitchen store - Kitchen Klutter

The buffet at the casino was closed.  We shared this massive plate of nachos in the bar

This is also from one of our favourite eating place - home!
Shrimp Scampi, Parmesan Asparagus and garlic bread
We spent one night at the casino and then because our favourite camping place is closed for renovations, we found Heceta RV park.  It's an older park but very nice, well maintained and the staff is super friendly.

We don't have a picture of here yet as it has rained almost continuously.  We expected that and. if the truth be known, it's kinda of nice for us.  No rain in 5 months until now.  The puddles aren't nice though.

Definitely the perfect title for those of us trying to keep track of you. Getting closer to your home country. Safe travels.

I love taking pictures of the mountains and especially Mt. Shasta because it's always so beautiful and it's right there! Safe travels the rest of the way "home".
