Out of the Rain and on to the Final Destination

After 9 days of rain, sometimes just pouring, we had some concerns about getting out of our spot.

Thank goodness for 4 wheel drive.

And we were off.  A short uneventful drive up the very familiar Coquahalla Highway.  Not much snow.

And there was Merritt.  Seems like home to us now.

We got to the park just after noon and Sue and Doug were waiting.  Lovely folks, cleaned our site for us.

Doug and I had a look around.  Things are much better than start up last year.  We are missing some keys, in particular the truck and cart keys, but the contractor is bringing them tomorrow, we hope.

Didn't take us long to set up.  Even though the site is a bugger to get into, Doug did great.
Within an hour Dianne and Steve arrived.

We all got together for a pot luck at Sue and Doug's rig.  Thank you Sue for the meal.

Steve enjoys hamburger soup
Dianne has become Tucker's new best friend.  Dogs don't forget friends.  Have fun Dianne.

Our last team member/friend Gord will be out to the park tomorrow.  Many hands make light work.

Good to have the group all gathering before another busy season begins. Try not to work too hard too fast, please.

It looks like you rolled into a very nice site. Enjoy the next few months with your Canadian group because fall is just around the corner and it'll be time to head south again. :)
