QUARTZSITE 2015 - BEEN THERE, DONE THAT

Quartzsite 2015 is over.  We had some very good times and made a few new friends.  We enjoyed being with friends that we made 6 years ago.

In the end we had 23 rigs.  That's a lot of rigs and a lot of people. 

Three couples put on a Mexican night.

 They served up quesadillas and margaritas.  The quesdillas were excellent.  Julie and Mike, Paul and Sue, and Tom and Dianne has an assembly line going.

 They had a custom pinata made up for the affair.  The pinata was full of candy.  What fun trying to break it open.  Paul did it but I think he cheated - wink, wink.

Our friend Jan, who has a badly broken heal and wasn't expected to make it to Quartzsite this year, was not going to be left out and hobbled around on her knee cart.  It was Jan's birthday on Friday and I made her a cake.

There was a fire that night and many, many margaritas were consumed.

We had an appetizer night, a free swap meet (Whoppie, we got three shelves for our fridge that had broken years ago), a group went to the Desert Bar and after we had left, there was a Spaghetti Night.
