Our week at Borrego Springs is coming to a close. Today it actually cooled down as the sun set. The temperatures have been in the 90’s (30’sC) all week.
Our Verizon MiFi has not been pulling in much of a signal. One day we went into Borrego Springs in the park called Christmas Circle, sat in the shade of the palm trees, and wiggled our toes in the grass. The signal there was excellent. There is a bandstand and a group was there to entertain us.
This morning Doug decided to do the Hellhole Canyon trail. He hiked six miles, 905 feet up. He was gone for 2 1/2 hours. Needless to say he returned exhausted and hot. He took lots of pictures and said the hike was well worth it.
At the top there is a spring, palm trees and Doug even heard a frog.

The hike Doug did sounds like one Paul and I would really enjoy. I like seeing that deep blue sky.
Good warning from Jeri. They've been seeing them snakes around Phoenix.
