NOT MUCH TO SAY BUT HERE ARE SOME PICTURES

An Osprey and her nest.  After a while their noise is annoying.

We all say how there really isn't much to say when you are sitting still.  That's it.  We are sitting still.  Doug figured out that we are about 1/3 finished our stint here at Monck Park.  I am working a lot of hours and Doug is working nearly everyday with his brother in construction.  I am enjoying myself for the most part, love the people. Doug doesn't like working much though.

The other night our sister-in-law, who owns the local radio station, got us tickets to a concert in town.  Now we know our American followers don't know the band Trooper but I can stay that I practically grew up with them.  They were the house band in the pub next to the bank I worked in for years.  So seeing them again was very nostalgic.  They have been together for 35 years!  It was fun.  Here's a sample for you.  You might even know the song.

I read the Escapees site almost daily but it's sad for me.  I see all the goings-on but can't participate, well at least not in person.  I miss our traveling friends.  Maybe, just maybe, some of them will come and visit us.  We did have our friends Kathy and Bill surprise us on Thursday with a visit and our Escapee friends from Langley, Judy and Terry, are arriving this afternoon.

A few more pictures.  Thanks for visiting.

I'm voting with Doug. That work thing just can't be too much fun. But you get to mingle with the people which is right up your alley. I feel like we're never going to move again either. We've been here for over a month and poor Jim has to put up with me. We'll see you this fall when we all get back on the road again.

Nice to see see your surroundings. It absolutely looks beautiful. I agree with Sandie that having all those people around you should put you on Cloud 9.

Hopefully, we'll see you on the road this fall when the work stops and you two can relax again.

You and Doug need to break those old habits. Working?!!! :). At least you both have jobs where you don't hate the work itself.

You look good at your work station. We know how it feels to just sit. We have been in Red Bay for two weeks and know we have another one to go. This place has NOTHING going on. It is even DRY on top of BORING. Love the pictures.
