We enjoyed tent camping for over 20 years. First with the children, sometimes with 5 of the 6 of them. We went to Disneyland in our Ford Van every spring break for several years. One at a time the children decided that they were too old for camping with their parents.

We bought our last stix and brix in September of 2001. Over the nine we owned it we renovated every room in the house. Doug is very handy that way and we didn't require subtrades. Our oldest son, Jason, is an electrician so any wiring we needed he was there.
Here are some pictures of our house in Langley, British Columbia, a suburb of Vancouver.
And this is why we have decided to be full-timers and never see winter again. |

I LOVED your blog. It's so much fun to read about what our friends are doing and what they did! Love it! I can't believe you never had the in-betweens. We changed rigs like some people change socks. I think I different times in our lives different things worked. Very nice.
Snow!! What a terrible picture - only sunshine allowed. I'm sure glad you guys decided to join the Class of 2009. And I agree with Jeri - it's fun to see what we "left behind".
That was just part one. I was having a terrible time with the pictures so I quit. Will do again tonight.
