Armstrong - Down on the Farm

We have been at the family farm since Thursday but with so many things to do for the Teece Family Reunion this weekend I have not had time to post.  Doug has decided to redo the bins on the back of the pick-up so I am catching up.





I really enjoy the time we spend here.  Doug enjoys it a little less as it brings back so many memories.  His Dad is gone now and his Mom is not able to live here any longer.  He lived in this town and they spent a lot of time here.  But it's fun being here with Andrew and Avee and they make us so welcome.  (Not even going to mention the HE washer and dryer, va va voom).

I cook one night and Avee, who goes to University in town, cooks the next.

Andrew has this hot car.  


The weather has been extremely hot so we try to get things done in the morning.  Then we run the generator for air-conditioning in the afternoon.  We are constantly opening and closing vents, windows and doors to keep cool.

The only problem we have here is Parker.  Usually Parker isn't a problem but hey......he is horny!  Andrew and Avee have a purebred, unfixed, female golden retriever.  Summer (that's her name) is a show dog and we must not let Parker have his way with her.  But that doesn't mean he doesn't take every opportunity to try.  And she is a huge FLIRT!

That's it for today.  We are off to Walmart.
