Neepawa: Fun with the Grandsons

Our challenge is to keep two teen aged grandsons entertained without wearing us completely out.

Monday Doug took William and James to the Artillery Museum in Brandon.  I have no interest in guns of any sort so I sat this one out.  Doug thoroughly enjoyed himself.

Yesterday was a day of rest for us.  Well we did visit the lily farm here in Neepawa.  Supposedly Neepawa claims to be the Lily Capital of Canada.  There were hundreds of varieties of lilies.  Most of them were finished blooming for the year.  We bought one that hadn't quite started for a gift for a friend.

Today we took the boys and Charlette to Clear Lake National Park.  The plan was for a swim and some mini-golf.  The swim happened.  The mini-golf was juvenile and expensive so we skipped it.

They all had fun with this giant Adirondack chair.

I found this large hollowed out stump for a seat and Charlette and I had a great time people watching.

We have extended our stay a few days and tomorrow we will have to move to another site about 200 yards away.  We will take advantage of this move by getting propane and washing the coach in town
