A SHORT MOVE

The waiting is killing us!  Waiting for the final payment so that we can complete the purchase of the motorhome.

So we decided to move.  A change of scene will make the waiting more bearable.

We have moved to Lake Country, north of Kelowna and only about 5 minutes to the RV dealership and the motorhome.  When we are all ready to move into the motorhome it will be quick and easy.  We have left the little car, packed to the rafters with bins, in Merritt.  We will drive over to Kamloops, get the car trailer, and go back to Merritt and pick up the car.

We are in a very nice RV park, Wood Lake RV and Marina.  Wood Lake has been drastically effected by the flooding most of the province has been having this spring.

The whole first row of RV sites are underwater
This is a lovely park and we have a great site convenient to everything.  The store/office, laundry and washroom are across the street.  There are plenty of shade trees and the picnic tables have been whimsically painted.

(okay that table is not whimsically painted.  Ours is mauve, pink and yellow)
There is a pub within walking distance from the park.  Although we did not walk because Doug's sciatica/bursitis is not quite gone, we went to dinner.  My lobster mac and cheese was excellent.  Doug's meal was good.  This was a great place for people watching and the cider was cold and crisp.

and so we will relax and wait.

Yeah sure, you're relaxing. You are mentally putting everything away.

As the saying goes "Hurry Up and Wait" so an easy way of doing that is just Relax and enjoy what nature has to offer. Your dream will arrive soon enough.
Be Safe and Enjoy!

It's about time.

You've definitely had plenty of time to plan. Now comes the action and it will come. Soon enough you'll be on the road to another adventure.

Lovely spot...and you sound like you are well organized for the final part of transferring all of your belongings to your new rig! Looking forward to seeing you in it! Hope Doug's sciatica improves! Is he doing the pigeon yoga pose?

Count your blessings...we wish we were waiting to move into a new rig but we are still waiting for the financial means to do it. Before you know it, you will be in your new home and enjoying the ride!
