ON THE ROAD AGAIN DAY 1 - Falkland Little Britches Rodeo and Banquet

After a bit of a delay in Merritt, we made it to friends Ross and Cynthia's place near Falkland, BC.  A delicious chicken dinner was waiting for us.  Thank you!

Saturday morning after a few last minute fix-its in the rig, we went off to the Little Britches rodeo.  Little Britches participants are from about 5 years old to 16 years old.  Cynthia's granddaughter Hannah is a first year senior at 11 years old and granddaughter Taylor is a junior.  Together they cleaned up on awards.

Doug shot 267 pictures.  Going through them is quite a job.  Sorry if some are not very clear.

This morning we are off.  First for lunch with brother Bill in Salmon Arm.  We will spend the night in one of the many campsites in Banff National Park and then have lunch with our friend Lois in Calgary before heading to our friends Terry and Edi's place near Edmonton for a few days.

We love going to the young rodeo in Houston. It is on everyday the big rodeo is on. Those kids can sure ride.

Sounds like you are hop, skip, and jumping from one friend/relative to another. What a fun way to travel.
