We've been here a week and it has rained every day except yesterday and today. Our heaters have been having a workout, almost 24 hours a day. We call this one R2D2 and no, he doesn't wear the hat often.
We have had wind too, lots of it. See the trees. Makes us nervous as the folks we stay with had several large trees fall down last fall. The wind has stopped for now.
On the day Graeme's fiance arrived, his car broke down. The repairs were going to be more than the value of the car. We got him another. This car seems very dependable and it's the first one he has owned from this century.
We are going to have a reception/family party on Sunday, the day after the wedding. We are doing pot luck so we have been baking and cooking a lot. This gave Doug and I the opportunity to get some more experience with our new pasta maker. This time we were more successful. We made a big vegetarian lasagna.
First it goes through the rollers until it gets really thin. The trick is to keep it from breaking. |

Praying that Mother Nature is very good to the entire family. Please give Graeme's our wishes for a very happy and health marriage.
My mom and dad made home made noodles by hand. Man were they fantastic. Sure hoping mother nature behaves herself.

Had lots of delicious homemade noodles. However, making them sure is a lot of work. At least you have the wedding gift behind you. Now all you have to go through is the wedding but you'll probably enjoy yourselves. Here's hoping it's a great day!
R2D2 looks cute in his hat.
You brought me memories of my Grandma's noodles spread out on her table to dry. I hope yours turn out as well as hers.
Wishing you all a wonderful wedding day and happily ever after.
Believe it or not--I used to make home made noodles.
The weather and wedding will be perfect!!!
