The axles, rims, tires, brakes, everything has been replaced and Doug says the trailer hauls so much smoother. We regained confidence in our rig. The work done on the rig was perfect. Drago knows his stuff. Took a few more days than we expected but it's all done now.
Notice there are 8 lug nuts. There were only 5 before. Pretty tires too. |
We are spending a few days at our dear friends Cynthia and Ross's place near Falkland. It's quiet and restful. We eat together and talk. I have known Cynthia since the late 70's. Horses and rodeos are a way of life for the whole family.
There we are beside the camper. Cynthia and the dogs bringing us fresh vegetables. |
Taylor is 8 and her horse is Alice |
Hanna is 10 and her horse is Oakie |

We made a trip into Salmon Arm and did some shopping. Lots of things to make life on the road easier. We have cleaned, we have reorganized, and cleaned some more.
We are off tomorrow to an Escapee rally near Sicamous. Should be fun.
There are more than just horses here. This adorable puppy is just 3 months old. She is a miniature Australian Heeler. Her name is Jackie because Ross wanted a Jack Russel and Cynthia didn't. Daughter Amanda breeds miniature Australian Heelers.

I hear you, sometimes you need those bad days to remember how nice the good ones are.
So happy to know you are safe again. Unwinding is a good thing. Have fun at the rally.
I tried posting from my phone and you see what a mess I made of that.
