ROVERS' ROOST - Casa Grande, Arizona

We have been here at the Roost since Monday afternoon and I haven't blogged!  Truth be known, I have been waiting for a sunny day.  The sun has just now come out.  First two days were just gray, then a few raindrops and last night, a downpour.

I could have cheated, fibbed and uploaded pictures from previous years but hell, this is a novelty for us.  The rain that we have had in the last day is nothing like the endless rain we have in British Columbia at this time of year.  The desert is loving it.  Things will be blooming all over.

This is quite a bare bones site but it is very close to dear friends
This morning Doug and I are enjoying the coziness of our rig.  He is writing and I am shopping on-line for Christmas gifts for all the younger grandchildren.

As of yesterday, grandchildren number twelve!  Daughter Loreena gave birth to Vincent Paul yesterday.  Mom and babe are fine.  Daddy Chris has an operation on his leg on Monday but that's other story.

Congratulations on the new grandbaby!

It really soaked us here too. With all that rain we had to look at a map and try to figure out where we were. We were sure we weren't in Arizona?

It's not fair. You have twelve of those beautiful grandbabies and I don't have one yet. Thank goodness I get to share Jim's. I loved seeing Pedro - figured you might have gotten rid of him.
