Tomorrow morning we leave the Escapee Park in Pahrump, Nevada. I don’t want to get behind in my blogging. So let me tell you about this park.
This is a very friendly park. From the moment you check in you feel like part of the family. Lots of hugs, and everyone waves.
The park has been laid out in such a manner that all sites are pull-throughs.
By coincidence, we arrived during their anniversary celebration week. The park was opened 25 years ago and a lot of the original residents are still lease-holders.
There was a parade around the park on the Tuesday where I met these residents. Every day there was some sort of activity, food or otherwise. We tried to participate in all of the activities but unfortunately I had a nasty bout of allergies.
Doug carved a pumpkin and I baked a cake for the Halloween party.
We both won a door prize. We found it quite interesting that the pot luck dinner, dozens of dishes, had only one dish with vegetables in it. Ha ha, we eat what we like I guess.
There were two more events today but I relented a took a full dose of Benadryl and passed out for most of the afternoon.

We enjoyed our stay at the park also.
Hope you are feeling much better today.
Cool looking cake!
Sure hope you're feeling better. That's too funny about the veggies. We always have lots of veggie dishes here at this park. That a whole bunch of desserts.
hope you feel better!! the cake looked very festive!!
Your header picture doesn't match your blog anymore. The new picture looks more like Boulder City Elks RV Park.

Well, I get ahead of myself on header photos and behind too. Looks like you had a lot of fun in Pahrump. Isn't that what this is all about?
