FRIENDS GATHER–WEATHER WARMS UP

The weather is warming up and more rigs have arrived.  We now have 18 rigs of various shapes and sizes (hmm so are the people).

Our friend Denise took this picture the other day but of course this is only a few of the rigs in our group.
One couple, Dianne and Tom, came with one rig and will be leaving with a new one.

The salesman brought it out to them.  That’s their current home in the background.  They will take possession in the next couple of days.

And this is Linda’s rig.  A Mercedes Benz customized van.  She travels alone while her husband lives in their condo in Minnesota.
There are about equal number of motorhomes (two are toy-haulers) and 5th wheels.  There are a couple of trailers, one is an Airstream – known as a Silver Bullet among RV’ers.  Motorhomes bring along a toad (towed vehicle) and some even bring along another flat bed trailer for an ATV or two.
Our home is nearly the smallest and probably the least expensive but you know, we like it best.  It meets all our needs and we always feel so good when one of the owners of the “big” rigs visits and says “My you have a lot of room”

The sun is shining, the wind has nearly disappeared and we are able to have our nightly fire.  THAT folks is what this life is all about.

I'm like you, wouldn't trade our rig for anybody else's. Love those campfires.
