CASA GRANDE - Just Like Home

We arrived at Casa Grande on Friday at lunchtime.  We were immediately aware of how much this place feels like home to us.  Friends everywhere and lots of hugs.

The managers own the lot we are on and live on the manager's site, so we can have it for as long as we want.  We were only here a couple of hours when Doug said he didn't think a month would be long enough.  So we'll see.

Sunday we attended a Super Bowl party in the Clubhouse.  We didn't go for the game as we don't follow American football.  We went for the wings and the pot luck.  We had fun sitting with friends.

As a joke, I wore my Vancouver Canucks jersey and that prompted some of the Canadian residents to arrange to go to a Canucks game in Glendale at the end of the month.  That will be FUN!
Parker loves his walks here.  There are animals to chase!  Road runner, quail and jack rabbits abound.

A really big hole

Just a couple more very neat pictures to share.

Beautiful Ocotillo in bloom

Our lunch at In n'Out - check the price!

The phone box across the road in the dark
Until next time - thanks for dropping by.

Glad you're settled for a little while especially in a place that you like so well. Now behave yourselves at least a little bit.

What is the name of the park you are at, we are looking for a place to stay in Casa Grande late March.

Many times when we first move into a park we think we want to stay for a longer period than we booked. However, by the time a week or two passes, we're ready to move along. I guess we just haven't found what we think is the "perfect" park. Maybe it doesn't really exist.

Have fun and enjoy your time there.

We haven't been to this park. Sounds so wonderful, arriving and having instead friends. Enjoy your month or more.

Mmmm. In N Out Burger. Another thing I'm missing this winter.

That rabbit made me think of a jackalope. :)

I'm glad you found a winter home that suits you so well.
