Today I was Master of Ceremonies at the social hour in the Clubhouse.  Doug had done this last year at this time and I wanted to do it today.  This involves standing up at the podium, telling a bit about ourselves, our travels and then following an agenda of Arrivals, Departures, Announcements, Jokes etc.

I didn't feel nervous and I was told by several members that I did a great job.

Doug made a video of the whole thing but I am not going to post it.  If for some reason you want to see it, ask.  I will send it to you.

Just read your whole blog. I loved it. I lived for 15 years in the Smithers area. I know Houston, Granisle, Burns Lake and the area well. It was wonderful to revisit it with you. Keep up the blog. I look forward to your posts especially the ones in BC. I miss my old home.

Merry Christmas to you and yours.
