Saturday December 18th was the annual Christmas Party at Rovers' Roost. We attended last year and knew it would be fun. Mr. & Mrs. Santa Claus were played by Lois and Grant Johnstone formerly of Cloverdale, BC. Usually their grandson Alex plays the elf but this year he is not coming until after Christmas so Doug filled in. They were calling him "the elf on steroids". He had such fun.
There was a gift exchange and games and lots of food.
Here are some pictures of friends and frivolity.

THE ANNOUNCEMENT
Today we paid our entry fee and put our name on the waiting list for a lot at Rovers' Roost. We are really at home here and are making a lot of new friends. We are number 120 on the list and the wait will be between 3 and 5 years. If we reach the top of the list and are not ready, we pay a nominal fee and move back down.
