Bon Jour Montreal! - We're off! Back to the USA

This is like Christmas Eve to us.  Tomorrow we are outta here.  Crossing the border back to the US.  Meeting up with friends Sandie and Jim.

It was great visiting our daughter Gayle and her guy, Vahan.  They made us so welcome.  We met Vahan's parents and we got along great.

However, if Gayle didn't live here we would never come back.  The language is a big problem.  Even grocery shopping is a challenge.  The roads are crazy and the drivers are even crazier.  The cyclists, buses and taxis think they own the road.  The roads are too narrow for the truck and you are never sure whether there is one lane or two.  As Gayle says, road signs are just a suggestion.

So bye bye Montreal, hello New York state.  Cheaper gas, cheaper groceries and

That's about how I felt when we left that rv park in Florida last year. It was 90 percent French Canadian and I was not impressed with them. So I have no desire to go to Montreal. Be glad to see you guys tomorrow.
