Creston British Columbia to Fort MacLeod Alberta

A long drive, across the Alberta border at Crowsnest Pass but it was a breeze when compared to the Kootenay Pass.  Once out of the mountains it's immediately table flat.

We stopped at Sparwood, on the British Columbia side so that Doug could pose with "The World's Largest Truck".  We tried to get Parker to pee on the wheels but he couldn't relate to that being a wheel at all.

There are some very interesting mountains in the Crowsnest pass.  These are a few.

We reached Fort MacLeod in the late afternoon and found a site at Daisy Mae RV park.  Not cheap.  $33.00 for water and electric.  We haven't even unhooked.

We want to make Cypress Hills Interprovincial Park tomorrow.  I have tried to make reservations but there is only "first come first served" which is not usually a problem except that the park is 38 ki off the main road.  Let's hope!

For shame. Don't ask Parker to do anything you wouldn't.

Great mountains. And Parker - you're smart to stay away from that truck - it could squish you.

Wishing you luck on your first come spot.
