ON THE ROAD AGAIN.......

We left the city this morning in extreme heat!  Heading for the hills.

We haven't gone far.  We are at Rolley Lake Provincial Park just west of Mission, BC.  This is a beautiful old park.  Sites are huge.  You cannot make reservations in most Provincial Parks.  When we got here it was just a few minutes shy of 11:00 check out time.  There were scads of people looking for a site.  We just lucked out!  Passed by just as a trailer was pulling out.  When eventually the park rangers came by they told us how lucky we were and they say we have the best site in the park.  We are right next to the playground.......

It's just a little before 9:00 and the young teens are in the playground and loud!!!!  And the language.  Don't want to be an old grump but WHERE ARE THEIR PARENTS!

We thought that being beside the playground was a great idea because, finally, we are going to have the grandchildren overnight on Saturday.  Anyhow, we will persevere.

By the way, Graeme is doing better.  We felt it was time to separate ourselves.  We feel that we have helped all we can by being there.  He knows that we are here for support.  He has his doctor and his counselors and should do okay.  We are praying he does.  We love him so and want him to be well.

We're rooting for Graeme too. Also, not sure I would think that being next to the playground in the summer would be the best place to be. But, what do I know.

I agree with Jeri. I don't want to be near a playground. Hopefully there's a curfew for quiet time. Glad you're on the move again. We'll still keep Graeme in our thoughts.

Playground not a good idea for us but the grandchildren will love it. The playground was quite by 10:00 but a 2:00 am the yahoos behind us had a loud argument.

Neighbors! Sometimes you love 'em some times you don't.

I think often of Graeme and wonder how he's doing so it's good to hear he is as well as he can be now and working at getting even better. Parents sometimes forget that they have to take care of themselves in order to be able to help their kids so I'm glad to hear you are taking care of you, too.

Thank you Linda. I have to stop feeling guilty.
