Salmon Arm - Day 2 - A Visit to a Very Pretty Place

Morning broke in Salmon Arm at about 5:00 am.  The sky was so blue it was almost lavender.  Quickly we covered over the window with a brown towel and closed the shade on the roof hatch but it was too late, we were awake.

We drove out to Tappen to pick up Doug's Mom for the day.  Doug's Mom lives with Doug's cousin Aila.  We wanted to take Mom out to Doug's brother Bill's place just a few miles down the road.  Bill and his wife Linda have a beautiful place out on Shuswap Lake.

This is Doug, brother Bill and his wife Linda and Doug's Mom with her back to the camera.
Linda has been working very hard on her garden and the nature paths around their property.  They have about 3 acres on Shuswap Lake and she wants it to remain natural and beautiful.  She has done an incredible job to do just that.  What do you think?
