Easter Sunday and there were rugrats running all over the campground shrieking while they searched for bunnie offerings. How soon we forget. We used to take the kids to Disneyland at Easter and hide eggs in the motel room. I usually forgot where half of them were.

We were off to daughter Niki's for vegetarian Easter dinner. The way there reminded us of one of the many reasons we are done with that life. Traffic. Bumper to bumper all the way into the city. We feel much safer with our big truck than we did with the car at freeway speeds. The mountains were covered with new snow. As long as it stays where it belongs, on the mountains.
We so enjoy visiting with Niki and her family. She is so capable and so relaxed. Mike and her work together to put a meal on the table and it is always healthy and tasty. I bring the bad stuff like cake and ice cream!
The grandchildren and their dog entertain us. A fun time was had by all.

Sounds like a wonderful Easter Day. We spent our day with my sister and her hubby and our 96 year old aunt. No little rug rats around for us. But a good day in spite of that.
