Tucson (continued)

Our plan was to stay at Casino Del Sol until Sunday and then just move over to Diamond J RV park.  However, just like last year, we were asked to leave Casino Del Sol because they needed their lot for an event.  The whole of Tucson has dozens of venues for the annual gem show.

So Friday morning, we made arrangements to park in Diamond J's dry camping area.  I tell you, I don't know how this woman manages to run this place.  So much confusion about when we were coming.  



Sunday morning, while we are waiting for our reserved site to vacate, she calls to ask when we are coming.  I said we were here in her dry camping area.  She says "No Toni called yesterday to say she was coming Sunday".  Oh well, all's well that ends well.

Saturday we drove down to Tubac, Arizona about 45 minutes from here.  Tubac is full of Arizonan/Mexican art and jewelry.  We had a nice lunch and shopped.   We got a lot of kitchen stuff in the kitchen store, and a ring and some earrings in a jewelry store.

Today was a day of cleaning and rest.  Tomorrow we are going to Biosphere 2.  Stay tuned.
