NEEPAWA, Manitoba

We had intended to get an early start from the Walmart in Regina, but not that early.  We were on the road before 6:00 am.

Just a few minutes out of Regina, it started to rain.  And it rained and rained all the way to Neepawa.  I thought it would wash away the dust on the motorhome and the car.  Not so.  We washed the car today, and found a place to wash the rig on our way out of town.

Doug picked out this campsite.  What a gem!  About four blocks from our daughter's house and five blocks to downtown Neepawa, Riverbend park is gorgeous.  Our site is a pull through with power and water for $25.00 a night.

Our rig is at the very center of the picture

Sunset over the park, first night

Our daughter Charlette and her sons James and William visited the first night.  We made plans to visit her the next day.  Her husband, Glen manages the Giant Tiger store in Neepawa.  We had never been in a Giant Tiger store and were blown away.  It's like a small Walmart and a lot of the prices are better than the big guys.  Very good Glen! a great opportunity for you.

We will try to find things to do with two teenaged boys.

Sure wish we could get some of that rain down here. Glad you're having such a good time.
