We're okay

You have probably all seen the reports of the devastating forest fires in British Columbia.  We wanted to let you know that we are fine.

We are back at Monck Park for a few days.  It's very smokey here but there were no fires on our way here and at this point there are no fires on our route for the next week.

Doesn't seem fair that summer took so long to get here and now there has been no rain for ages and the province has 552 fires and already 23,000 hectares have been burnt.

We will watch carefully, and adjust our schedule if need be.

We came through the Redwoods one year and all we saw was smoke, more smoke and many tents belonging to the firefighters. It's awful. Be safe.

I was looking up an old blog called Bruce and Jenna's RV Adventures, but don't see any posts since 2012. I noticed you had commented on their post about possible evacuation due to forrest fire, so was wondering if you still have contact with them. We met them inn Black Canyon City AZ about 6 years ago and have lost contact. We are Steve & Leslie. Steve is a musician and they went to hear him and watch an open mic at 4C's in Cave Creek AZ. (just in case you need info about who is enquiring).

Would appreciate any information about them if you have it. Email is lesnsteve7@gmail.com. Thank you.
