EAGLE WIND RV PARK, Aldergrove, BC

We have been here at Eagle Wind RV Park in Aldergrove for nearly a week.  We leave on Tuesday.  Leaving the land of obligation (LOO).

Eagle Wind is a lovely park, probably one of the nicest we have ever stayed at.  It is beautifully kept, the sites are very private.  There is a pool and a hot tub, a clubhouse, and laundry.

We have been very busy.  Our job in coming here was to empty my deceased father's house to make it ready for the new owners.  We had made arrangements to donate all the contents to Habitat for Humanity.  That was not to be, exactly.  Habitat for Humanity doesn't want everything.  Any upholstery in a floral pattern is unacceptable.  Mattresses are unacceptable.  Everything must be packed up.  This service cost $99.00.  So there we were with one day to empty the house and it was only half done.  We called a company called Junk Monsters and they were there in a little more than an hour.  They take everything to the dump.  Dumping fees are expensive.  Total bill $609.00, total appreciation - you bet, it was done.

Our son, Graeme, came first for a look at our new home.  He loved it and is so happy for us.

We have had many visitors while we are here at the coast.  Our friends Randy and Sandi came for a visit in their pretty gold Mercedes convertible.

Our daughter and her children came yesterday for a swim in the pool.  It's so refreshing to hear the children laughing and playing.

Our friends Sreedevi and her husband Anil, came for nachos and pizza last night.  So good to see them.

Today we ran a few errands including buying these bar stools for the motorhome.  I think to fit perfectly.

We have gone to the doctor for physicals and have all blood tests done.

Tomorrow we have dinner with Graeme and Adrienne and Monday we make sure we haven't forgotten to do anything.

Tuesday we will go back to Monck for a few days to visit with friends there and then we will be on the road again.

Wahoo!

You two have been very busy. The campground looks so lovely.
Glad you are enjoying your family time, and the house is done! I am not looking forward to the day dad either moves into an assisted living place or to the big party in the sky. I am sure I am going to have problems with my sister :(
