STILL AT BETTY'S - Abbeville, Louisiana

Just to let y'all know that we are still at Betty's RV in Abbeville, Louisiana.

Sunset over Betty's

We haven't done anything too exciting.  Having survived the election was exciting enough.

We are going to be staying until the 26th.  We are going to experience American Thanksgiving here at Betty's.

In the meantime, we have been helping out a bit.

We can look outside and see geckos regularly.

Betty has been caring for future Monarch butterflies. When we arrived they were just cocoons and now they are chrysalises.  Any day now they will pop out and be butterflies.

Today there are only two rigs here.  Well, three rigs if you include the one whose occupant lives here during the week because he works.  Even Betty had a day off today.

I didn't think Doug could sit still for very long. I am sure Betty appreciates all the help she can get.
Betty...day off...never heard of such a thing.

Sounds like you may have found your winter spot. I'm not at all surprised to see you helping out. How much of the Thanksgiving dinner are you cooking? I know from experience that you make tasty pumpkin pie.

Betty's going to be in for a treat if you're helping with the cooking.
