On the Road for Real - Calgary and Edmonton

We left Cynthia's on Sunday morning and met brother Bill in Salmon Arm for lunch.  Back on the road, through the Rockies and made it to a Provincial Park by dark.  Lucky for us.  The park was closing the next morning.

At Monarch Park, near Field. B. C.

We made it to Calgary right on time to meet my friend Lois for lunch.  Lois and I go back to high school days.  Long story but her daughter spent her 1st night in my dresser drawer.

We pushed on to spend several days with our RVing friends Terry and Edi.  As far as we knew, they lived north or Edmonton near Westlock.   Nope, another 100 k north of Westlock at a very little place called Fawcett.  Edi and Terry have a lot in Fawcett without services.  That part is fine with us.  Solar is doing it's thing even though we are parked wrong.  Unfortunately the yard is very wet and we are pretty stuck.  Four wheel drive and a lot of planks should get us out.

Terry is not well.  Wednesday we took Edi (well she directed us) to West Edmonton Mall.  WEM is the largest shopping mall in North America according to Google anyhow.  Indoor hockey rink, amusement park rides, aquarium and tons of stores.  We were exhausted by the end of the day.

We didn't buy anything.  Had a nice lunch though.

Today we shopped in the little town of Westlock and did the laundry (always important).

We will be here until Sunday morning and then make a Walmart dash to Winnipeg.

What a lovely drive. I love seeing those mountains.
You two are just partying every where you go. Enjoy.

I bet it feels good to be on the road and moving again. Lots of fun adventures are ahead of you so you both probably have big smiles on your face even though you just might have to dig yourselves out. Hopefully, things will dry out before Sunday.
