HAPPY 149th BIRTHDAY CANADA

Image result for CLIP ART canada day

Today is Canada's birthday.  It's quite unusual to fall on a Friday but there it is.

Our park is full to capacity, well over capacity as we have several campers overnighting in our parking lot.  I have to go face that in a little bit but I thought I would try to get a blog up.

Other than work, work, work, not much going on.  We had a short visit from Graeme last week.

Several hours later.  Whew, what a shift, many, many campers in the park.  Sites are doubled and tripled up.

We continue to have a blast with our little friends in the yard.

A very close up of a hummingbird.  The details in its feather is amazing.  The white dot is not its eye, just a design in the feathers.

A marmot hanging out in the picnic area.
As it sit comfortable in our rig at the top of the campground, I hear jet skis and power boats skimming the beach.  It's so annoying but there is nothing we can do. The water is not our jurisdiction.  Annoying from here, imagine the people on the beach.

Doug has been filling his "leisure" time with more renovations.  It all started with a new upright vacuam.   But more of that in the next blog, when it's finished.

It takes a lot of fortitude to handle that many campers. Sure glad we're not in a xampground this weekend.

I'm with Sandie--glad not to be in a campground this weekend. The annual Minnesota Orchestra concert in the park was a couple nights ago so we've already had one night of fireworks. More to come, I'm sure. Does Canada Day usually include fireworks?

Well we are in a "vacation park" of over 300 RV's. Most of them are seasonal and have been for at least 20 years. This isn't our kind of park, but we are in a tourist area in the Pocono Mountains.

When I think of Canada Day I always think of Doug and Toni. I love the new couch.

This is a big weekend for Canada and for the USA. Everyone will be out and celebrating. I'm sure you'll have your hands full in the campground that's over packed. Lots of luck to you with that!
