IN THE BEGINNING

At first we were here
We moved.  Just to the other side of the wall.  There is going to be another rig coming and we decided to move.  This spot is more private and we have a large yard.  Being pointed in this direction is better in the wind.

And now we are here

Most mornings we are visited by these furry friends.  Hard to tell whether this is the doe and her two fawns from last year.

Two furry friends.  One more had already fled.

Every day we take a cart and go around the park.  It's rather like having our own private estate at this point.  Friday the main gate and campers will come.  For the first two weeks, camping is free.  No services until the 1st of May.

Some campers are going to be upset.
B. C. Parks has made 10 more reservable sites.  That brings our First Come First Served sites down to 34.  Many parks in
the system are 100% reservable sites.  We hope we can hold that off for a few more years.

At the end of the week is my 65th birthday.  So hard for me to believe.  Anyhow, Doug mentioned something about getting me a ring for my birthday.  Those of you who know me well will understand that this kind of ring is much more appropriate.

My ring!  A propane fire ring.  No smell, no sparks, plenty of warmth.  It's going to be great in the desert where firewood is expensive.

Thank you dear!

I'm with you on the ring. That would be the kind I want. Happy birthday. Hope the upset campers don't spoil the day.

Plus that kind of ring doesn't tempt you to haul firewood across state lines. Good choice. Happy birthday!

HAHAHA...great sense of humor, Toni. I am not one for the finger rings either. Early happy birthday wish. I like your new site.
