WORKING HARD

The four of us are working very hard to have the park ready for our big weekend.  The Victoria Day weekend is usually the busiest camping weekend of the year.  People just can't wait to get out there.  The reservations are sold out and we have quite a few campers in the park already.  This all means Sue and Doug and Doug and I are going to be run off out feet.  The other couple Dianne and Steve are in Victoria for a while.  Their second grandchild is being born tomorrow and they are helping out by looking after their 2 year old grandson.

*********************************************************We have had a little bit of time to switch my computers.  I have a few more pictures to post.  This will be a picture blog with captions.  That's the best I can do for now.

By the way this is my new computer:   Acer Aspire

ACER #NX.MHGAA.001 Aspire E1-532-29574G50Mnrr 15.6" LED Notebook - Intel Celeron 2957U 1.40 GHz 4 GB RAM - 500 GB HDD - DVD-Writer - Intel HD Graphics Graphics - Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit - 1366 x 768 Display - Bluetooth - RedSo far so good.  I must download a manual.  The only thing I am having trouble with is the left shift key is in an awkward place next to a key that I have no idea is for.  Must download that manual.  I must admit, I wanted this computer because it is red.

I have some more family pictures to show off from the memorial for Doug's Mom.  All and all it was a good time with a sad theme.

This is Doug's cousin Wayne.  I posted this picture because I wanted you to see part of the farm.

So proud of Graeme speaking at the service.

Lots of animals on the farm.  Two legged as well as four legged.  Graeme with Oscar the cat, David,  me running off somewhere, the dog Summer, grand nephews Calum and Mclean.

The kids were doing a reenactment of a picture of them when they were all between 4 and 8 years old.  They used stuffed animals instead of the real thing.  They made the same faces.  Andrew, Niki, Jeff, Gayle,,Charlette and Samantha.

Same picture but adding those grandchildren and some of the great grandchildren.  Andrew, Jakob, Niki, Jeff, Gayle, Charlette, Jason, Samantha, Graeme, Mclean and Calum.

Nico was missing from the last picture becasue she was tending to Edie.  This shot is one of my very favourite pictures ever.

Edie and I.

Who said we couldn't goof around.  Gramma Kay would have wanted it that way.  Wayne, me, Mclean, David, Aleece and Calum.
The sadness is passing.  Mom is gone but never forgotten.  She is where she wanted to be and she is free.

Good luck with all your campers. Hope none of them give you a bad time. I also have an Acer Aspire and I really like it. Took awhile to get used to it but not too tough. Great family pics.

Looks like there was a good turn out for the memorial. Glad this is behind you. You will always remember her in your hearts.

I'm sure you'll master the new computer in no time. Enjoy yourselves this summer.

Glad you are both well again. Sorry for the loss of your mom... sounds like it was a good family gathering to celebrate her life. Wishing you both a great summer!!
