THIS AND THAT

We are still here at Pilot Knob near Yuma.  The weather is perfect – mid 70’s to mid 80’s and the wind has gone away at last.

Sunday we have our friends Edi and Terry, aka Our Stalkers, for dinner.  We met this couple from Westlock, Alberta in the fall of 2012 in the parking lot after an overnight at Walmart in Butte, Montana.  Since that time, they have found us at several different places. usually without our knowledge.  We have become great friends.  Terry is a Brit and when I promised him an English roast beef and Yorkshire pudding dinner, I realized I was putting myself under pressure to make it perfect.  Well it was.  Edie brought rutabaga and brussel sprouts.

Doug and I have both been working on projects.  During the very hot summer at Monck Park the decals on our rig had started to lift and peal.  Replacing the decals would be a very costly expense.  Doug has pealed the decals off the best he can and has painted new ones.   Fine job.

Luckily the pealing has only taken place in a few places and strangely enough, only one colour is coming off.

I had a project too.  We proudly became grandparents of grandchild #9 on January 2nd.  Edie Joy.  I have always knit an outfit for each new grandchild.  This is Edie’s little cardigan and hat.

Please, tell me about that grill hanging on your RV. I've never seen one like that before.
