NEW SKP FRIENDS

e May 28 Do rounds and clean sites then aft shopping (truck is very empty without that face) and we go to meet SKPs at Rally Claybanks. Fun people( bob & Karen from Casa). We join the chapter.
There was an Escapee Rally in Merritt this past week.  We happily attended two Happy Hours and two Pot Lucks.
We had only met one couple previous to this.  We had met  Bob and Karen from Chase, BC in Casa Grande and they came to visit us in Overton, Nevada one day in March.

On our last visit to the rally, I handed out an information packet about Monck Park and invited them all to come out to stay for an “after rally”.  I expected 4 rigs.  SEVEN came and boy did we have fun.

See the uninvited guest in the margerine?

We played games and laughed a lot.  We fit right in with this group and have joined the chapter.  We know that we will see them all again.
Very strange for us to now have an American group of SKP friends and a Canadian group of SKP friends.  We also have another group of SKP friends at Casa Grande, Arizona, American and Canadian.  Maybe one day, we will all be in the same place at once.

Sunday morning our new friends all went their separate ways and we are alone with the regular campers.  We have been working every day during this fun and games, so WE are exhausted.
