WHY ARE WE ALWAYS BUSY - Hmmm!

We are retired!  We just have a little house!  Why do we always seem to be so busy.  We always try to have a day just sitting around.  Doesn't happen often.

Boondocking requires a lot of trips to town.  Water, laundry, fuel for the generator, all trips to town.  Our fridge is relatively small so we often have trips to the grocery store.  Today we had two birthday cards to get off to Canada.  You know it costs $1.28 to mail a card from Canada to the US but only $ .85 to send a card from the US to Canada.  Probably gets there twice as fast too.

Pretty picture of where we are now.
Yesterday I walked down the road to take the garbage to the dumpster.  On the way, I noticed the last site was vacant!  Within 45 minutes we packed up and moved.  It was noon and the temperature was in the mid 80's so we sweated a lot but this site is more secluded and has a lot of shade.

Today is Halloween.  It seems to us that Americans celebrate Halloween with much more gusto than Canadians.   So to all.....Happy Halloween.  Hope this makes you chuckle.

You might as well have the best site. I bet you moved pretty fast but it sure looks perfect too! Happy Halloween to you too.

Your new site looks so private and peaceful.
We know what you mean about being retired and not having enough time to do everything. Just crazy!

Glad you got that great site. We also seem to be busy all the time doing what - I'm really not sure.

The busy thing hasn't stopped because I'm home either. I try to hibernate and somebody ruins it! Not fair when I supposedly have the whole day with no man nor dog! Pomegranates are suppose to be very high and full of antioxidents, but I think I'd buy prepared juice! I love a candle that smells of that tho.... we had 22 trick or treaters for Halloween, the most ever in 20 years. Used to be my favorite holiday when I was young and foolish...and last year I even got a little spirit back and dressed up once again.... Fall is my favorite colors so love Haloween decorations ... leaves and Pumpkins. Looks like a cozy site!
