THE COUNTDOWN - Not the Usual Christmas One

Psst......We have a countdown but it has nothing to do with Christmas.  At this time of year, at least where we are, it's all about buying gifts, decorating, filling the calendar with parties and visits.  Making a list and checking it twice.

 This morning while stuck in the morning traffic, Doug and I made a list.  We made a list of the things we have to do before we finally go south.

1. Go to the doctor
2. Fill our prescriptions
3. Arrange for travel insurance and renewal of truck insurance while away
4. Arrange to cancel our air card
5. Get tire(s)
6. Fix the awning
7. Get a new computer battery

Those regular folks might think our list was boring.  We don't.  Just writing it down is thrilling.  Checking it off will be exhilarating and leaving, well......
