Lac La Hache, British Columbia

This is not going to be a very exciting entry but one that I felt I should share.

For anyone traveling to Alaska, Lac La Hache Provincial Park would be a great stopping place.  The park is big with lots of sites spacious enough for the largest motor home.  Of course there are no hook-ups but there are both cell phone and internet (with an air card) service.  The park has been here for well over 50 years as my family used to camp here in the 1950's.  The town is about 25 miles away with great grocery shopping, a laundramat and most things rv'ers would need.

Lac La Hache is north of 100 Mile House and south of Williams Lake.  And yes there is a lake.  And in case you want a translation Lac La Hache is Lake of Ground Meat.

As you see, we are well set up.  First time in a very long time that we have been able to set up the screen house.  Not many mosquitoes though.

About an hour after that picture was taken, we had a huge thunderstorm. Dashing around to keep everything dry and Parker was freaking.

Finding out about a great place to camp is always exciting. Those are the kinds of places we are always looking for.

And Sandie, you should see the boats on the Lac with fishermen with bent rods. Tee hee
