Today we left Hoquaim, Washington and drove up the inside of the Olympic Peninsula. Before we left, Doug insisted that I take a walk down the river with him and the dog. This is what he wanted to show me.
Notice the timbers under the water. This was obviously the end of the line on the river some time before. The tracks just end and are totally overgrown. Usually when Doug wants me to see something, it's good and this was no exception.
So we are now at our last spot before we cross the border and see our family and friends. We are at our sixth SKP camp, Evergreen Coho, at Chimacum. This is a very pretty park with a few very different policies. The office is closed on Saturdays and Sundays but they allow you to park yourself and to pay when they open on Monday. There are not many people around but those that are are friendly enough. The gardens are amazing. They are everywhere and someone (s) really care.
We are going to stay here until Thursday and go on the ferry to Whidbey and then do a bit of shopping in Burlington before crossing the border.
I didn't have a chance to take any pictures of this park but I will tomorrow. Good night friends.

I already miss you guys so much. I am really looking forward to next October or November when you can get back down here again.
It doesn't look like horrible weather there. Maybe going north this early isn't so bad after all? Except for missing all of us, of course, but Jeri & Terry appear to be about to catch up to you and Joe is already up there so you get at least one more chance at meeting up with members of our group.
Wait a minute! You said you did a music video. We should have discussed this. That used to be another one of my "things". I've done lots in the "other" life.
