This is our fourth winter in Arizona. We have seen this sign dozens of times.
but alas no burros. And then Wednesday, we took a drive up the California side of the Colorado River to the Parker Dam and there they were on the side of the hill.
I whistled and the little one looked my way.
They are taller than I expected and so cute.
Of course, Parker had to pose with his dam.
There are some very impressive homes along the Colorado River on the Arizona side. Almost like Venice.
Meanwhile back at the homestead, the weather has been perfect for our nightly fire. We have decided that margueritas and pie go well with campfires.

Saw the burros last trip, even a baby came up to car, so cute. Hope you had a marguerita for me, told Jerri to. Miss ya.
Great burro photos!! Parker is such a sweetie. He definitely now is the laid back dog.
Love those burro pictures. Glad you got to finally see them.
Nice fire. I don't see Lee so who is the fire builder?
Lucky you! I saw three along the 95 to Q and didn't have the camera ready :((
