On to ONTARIO

We are traveling almost every day and I am trying to keep my blog up to date both for you who follow me and for myself.

We left Brandon a little late but pushed on to Ontario.  Our GPS took us the wrong way to our intended RV park.  We ended up down a dead-end road but managed to turn around without too much cursing.

We ended up at Willows Lake RV camp east of Kenora.  They didn't really have room for us but let us dry-camp outside their office.  A nice quiet night and an early start.

We are now in Thunder Bay, Ontario at the Chipawa Campground on the Ojibwa reservation.  We have been here in the fall of 2010.  It was much busier then.  The park is pretty much empty.  The wi-fi is not good so I am luck to get this posted.

Doug goes for a walk after a long, long drive

Ontario is wide, very very wide. We still have two stops before we reach Fenelon Falls and our friends Terri and Paul.

You are definitely covering a lot of territory. Did you have to unhitch the car to get turned around?

How scary to be caught at a dead end. I have the same question at Sandie...how did you get turned around?

We got caught like that once by a low entrance. We had to unhitch the car. By the time we got turned around we had two other vehicles waiting for us to clear. Not fun!

Moving on every day is hard. Hopefully you get to stop and smell more than one rose along the way!
