The Monck Park Zoo

Sorry this is not a blog announcing we have the motorhome, wish it was.  SOON...

Last year we were here for the whole season so we built a "playground" for the local animals.  We are only here a little while longer but we are enjoying the animals nonetheless.

A few pictures for you.

First the chipmunks:

Crazy hair day?

Posing in the sunshine

Larry, Moe and Joe

Look closely.  There are seven chipmunks here

The eagles:

The creeks are overflowing into the fields.  The eagles just wait for the fish.  Aha, dinner

Waiting his turn

Golden eagles too.
And there is always Nacho, the resident deer.  We call her that because of the notch in her ear.  She has been here at least 6 years.

This little starling thinks it's a chipmunk and the chipmunks let him eat with them.

We have two hummingbird feeders and there are dozen of types of hummingbirds.  We refer to them as little buzzers.

The probate grants have been delivered and we are just waiting for the financial companies to settle up.  In the meantime, we have had a hitch installed on the little car and are hunting for a suitable trailer for the car.

I love watching the critters. It is so much fun to watch and take photos.

Soon, real soon you will be moving into your new home. The wait must be terrible.

Great pictures!
Are you sure those are Goldens? They look like immature bald eagles. Babies reach adult size about a month after hatching or therabouts.
Also, Goldens usually eat mammals and aren't so big on fish.
Just curious...
