Another Update - Celebration of Life

On April 2nd, my brother Steve and his wife Kathy hosted a Celebration of Life for my father who passed away February 27th.  They have a beautiful home and did a fantastic job.  It was great to have both sides of the family together for the first time in a long time.

Steve and Kathy made this wonderful collage showing every family member

That's my brother Steve sitting in front of the window and Kathy at the end of the fireplace.

There were about 30 in attendance including my parents' oldest friend, Dagmar.  Sorry only one picture was taken of Dagmar and I haven't received it yet.

It is so good to have my brother back in my life.  We are all working together to get everything done regarding my father's estate and the sale of his house.   The rv salesman did come to see the house and is arranging for a building inspector.  If everything pans out, he will draw up an agreement.

Our truck is all back together again.  We are very paranoid about leaving it now.

Spring has begun to spring around here.  It still rains almost every day though.  No end in sight.  The weather at Monck Park is about the same but colder so we are not going anywhere until that clears up.

I'm glad you were able to have a whole family gathering. That white flower in your picture is a trillium. It's three petals and three leaves stand for friendship. I learned that when we moved here to Trillium Woods. That makes it a good symbol of your gathering.

Sorry that dad's death has brought you and your brother back together again, but I bet dad is a very happy you two are together.

Having a good relationship with your brother may be in your future. I hope that's true as both of you will benefit from it. The picture of your truck looks so different than the tornup version we saw the other day. Enjoy your time with family!
