Updates

It's time for an update.

Doug and I have been working very hard to get everything done since my Dad passed away.  We have visited the funeral home and cemetery.  We have located the will, advised the bank, and cut off some services at the house.  We are ordering the plaque for the niche on Monday and visiting the lawyer on Tuesday.  We have a realtor coming to the house on Monday.

The real estate market in Dad's neighbourhood is very hot right now, with houses listed for only a week and getting their asking price.  We are going to try to list the house before the probate is final.

My brother Steve is talking to me!  That makes me very happy and it makes things much easier.  We feel we are doing our part in these arrangements.  He and Kathy are going to host a Celebration of Life when they get back from Arizona.

Just when we thought spring was on its way, more white stuff fell out of the sky.

From this when we arrived,,,,

To this last week......

To this this morning....

From the doorway.
The mountains are breathtaking but we prefer the snow to stay on the mountains.

Eventually Mother Nature will figure it out and send us Spring.

I agree that mountains are a good place for snow to stay. I'm pleased to hear you and Steve are talking again. It's hard when family doesn't get along.

Sounds like you two have everything under control. What wonderful news about Steve. Glad he has grown up and realizes that you need to be part of his life.

There's a lot to be done when a parent passes. Looks like you're taking care of everything.

Temperatures heading into the 90's next week so we have zero percent chance of snow here.
