Blogging About .....what?

Time to blog again, but about what?  How is it that we have been so busy but nothing is blog- worthy to my followers.

It continues to rain most days.  But you know the rain bring out the flowers.  There are narcissus blooming in the park and tulips and daffodils are on their way.

There is still a lot to do at my Dad's house but my brother is back and that lightens the load tremendously.  It was great to know that the four of us are on the same page as to how to proceed.  The majority of the household effects will be going to charity.  We have chosen a few paintings and the grandchildren are taking some things.  The furnishing have to stay until after the house has been sold.

We had a really nice visit with our friends Donna and Gord who will be taking over the management of the park this year.  We know they are going to need our help for a little while and we will be more than happy to do so.

This is such a great photo of Gord mowing for the first time last year.
The interment is Tuesday.  That will seem like an end to that chapter at least.

Oh yeah, the exciting part!  We had been planning to go to my cousin's daughter's wedding in London in September.  We have now made all those arrangements and have added a week in PARIS!!!  We used AirBnB and found a wonderful fully equipped apartment close to everything.

We will be taking the rig to friends' place in Ontario, visiting for a while and leaving the rig and flying from Ontario to London for the wedding and then taking the Eurostar train (just under 3 hours) to Paris.  Then the train back to London for a little more time and flying back to Toronto.

After a rest, we will begin our American travels in Bagley, Minnesota for our Thanksgiving with David, Stefani, Nickolas and Lizzy.

We saw a great piece on TV about AirBnB. Boy the founders are pretty young. Our friends, Kevin and Ruth, use that site all through Europe. Can't wait to hear how you enjoy your adventure.

Where will you be staying for the summer? In the same campground or moving on?

Have a wonderful trip! We were happy at how easy we found it to get around London and Paris on public transportation. I hope you have that same experience. The train between the two was somewhat disappointing; I don't know what we expected to see from a train going through a tunnel. :)

You are going to have so much fun in London and Paris. I can hardly wait to see your blog posts. Take lots of good pictures. That will sure make up for the lack of blog worthy stuff now. We, too, seem to stay busy but nothing to blog about.

As said before sorry about your father's passing and hope the estate is settled quickly.
There are tours around the British Isles that you might find interesting as well but if you are in Paris make certain to take in the Eiffel Tower. The view is unbeatable.
You are misinterpreting what a blog primarily is, a diary, log, or a journal. It is mostly meant to remind you in later years things that you do. The bonus is having others following and commenting. Don't let them change what you want to write about.
Be Safe!

It's about time.

Sometimes it is hard to come up with something to blog about. I've also found it very difficult to find time to read those who blog daily. My cousin uses AirBnB often when he travels. We usually stayed in hotels and a few B&B's. Enjoy yourselves.
