THE GATHERING

Before I get caught up with last week, let me explain what's happening now.  We are making our way north to take over what care my father needs as my brother has gone south.  Covering the high mountain passes was easy, very little snow and only on the sides of the road.  But now Vancouver is completely snowed in. Schools are shut down and the freeways are barely passable.

We are at the Escapee park in Sutherlin, Oregon.  It's a nice park and affordable.  We will sit here and watch the weather forecasts.  We were slated to be back Thursday but I doubt that's going to happen.

Last week we met up with several of our RVing friends near Casa Grande, Arizona.  We have been friends since 2009 when we met up in the desert at Quartzsite.  It was a great send-off for us before going back to the LOO (Land of Obligation).

We shared pot lucks, Happy Hours and a nightly gab around our propane fires.

The dogs put on a great show for us.  This was Lily Hyder's tetherball until Buck Williams came along.  He just started right up.  Lilly's nose was way out of joint.

Friend Marsha hosted a morning "tea" for the women.  We were spoiled with fantastic goodies and many crafts Jeri and Marsha made for us.

The guys met at Freddy's and reconfigured their entertainment center to accommodate a new television.  Doug supervised but they guys all helped.  Guys and their tools!!

We never get tired of the sunrises and sunsets in Arizona.

It's always fun spending time with friends.... video loaded but didn't play. However, it could have been me and not you.
