SITTING STILL IN LANGLEY

That's the thing about sitting still.  Nothing going on and therefore nothing to blog about.  Sitting still in the rain is even worse.

I can tell you at this time that we were so lucky to have that little break in the rain for the wedding.  So lucky.

We've been to visit my father.  He is 87 this year and is starting to realize that cutting off most of his family and friends makes for a pretty lonely existence.  He is completely mentally sound but doesn't want to go anywhere or change anything.  We are just letting him do that.  We visit him whenever we are here and I call him once a week from wherever we are.   My brother visits.

Visiting Dad
The property that we stay at while here at the coast has been sold.  The price $1.3 million.  The present owners have already made arrangements with the new owners for us to be able to continue to come and stay in the spring and the fall.

Doug made me another cupboard.  Amazing how many places there are in our rig that we can find extra storage.   The area above the existing cupboard was just hollow.  With a few adjustments and $0 dollars, I have a new cupboard.  Thanks dear!

This week we have a few more things planned but I can tell you, we have been here 19 days and we have 12 more to go, and we are so anxious to get to the park.  It rarely rains there, and we have most of our staff in place.  Hopefully this will be the best year ever.

I know all about sitting still but not so much rain this year. That's neat that you still get to park there.

I understand not having much to blog about when sitting still. At least you have a little catch-up time now to do the things you want or just relax.

You can never have too much storage space!

We just have to be feel so blessed to have our dad's this long. Mine is 88. He still gets out and visits but enjoys his house more than anything.

How great for the sellers and buyers to agree you can still come there!

My Dad is 93 and still living with my stepmom. We don't see them often so I am glad my stepsister is there for them.

Yay, Doug! Another handy job done and done well.

Can I borrow Doug? Just kiddin'. He sure knows what he's doing. How nice that the sellers made arrangements for you with the sellers. Have a great spring.
