Rovers' Roost - Casa Grande, Arizona

A lot is going on.  So much going on that I haven't had time to blog.

First, I admit, we have free Netflix and have been watching everything!  Movies, tv series, documentaries.  Of course a lot of it has been watched with our eyes closed.  But it's very relaxing.

Christmas has been the theme of much of our going-ons.  Shopping, baking and decorating.  I am definitely a Christmas person and like to do things up right.

We took a day to ourselves.  We shopped, had a nice lunch and then we saw the movie - Love the Coopers.  We had seen the first movie a few years ago and loved it.  We loved this one too.  I did cry a lot  It made me quite homesick for a large crazy Christmas gatherings with all the children and grandchildren.  We recommend it.

The park Christmas party was Saturday night.  There was lots of food and lots of fun.  It really warms my heart to see these seniors (yeah, we are too but we are among the younger ones), some well into their 90's, spry and having fun.

Santa - our friend from Ottawa - Howard

Our friend Diane telling Santa what she wants for Christmas
We have volunteered to dog sit Diane's dog Blitz while she goes to a family Christmas in Florida.  The onus is on Doug as he will be walking the dog.  We are happy to do this.  Diane is a good friend and adopted Blitz from a shelter only a month ago.  We did not want the dog to have to go to a kennel.  She is such a nice dog.

I probably won't be blogging any more before the big day so I would like to take the time to thank you all for following my blog, both you registered "followers" and my stalkers ;).  And to all of you....

MERRY CHRISTMAS AND ALL THE BEST FOR 2016.
