PILOT KNOB - Back Again

During our summer in the park, we had one of my blog followers say "You must not have a good time last winter because you kept going back to Pilot Knob".  Exactly the opposite is true.  We keep going back to Pilot Knob because we really like boondocking there.  We come back year after year.  No exception this year.  Some of the same people are here and we got our usual spot on the edge of the compound.  We will be here for 2 weeks and then gone for a month and then back for another stay.

The view from our living room window.  What's not to like.

This first few days we have been busy.  We visited Camping World in Tucson before leaving the area, intending to buy a sticker map and a collapsible garbage can.  We bought a whole lot more than that.  Doug has a lot of projects to complete.  Details to follow.

We have been out to dinner twice with friends.  Escapee friends Jan and Bill from Casa Grande were in town for a few days visiting the Mexican dentist.  They made time for us and we went to Da Boyz in the old town for a fabulous meal.

Last night we got together with friends Terry and Edi
and went to our very favourite buffet ever!   Lin's!
It never ceases to amaze me how Lin's can serve that much food hot, fresh and delicious.  And the price - $23.08 for two.

The neighbours and I are planning American Thanksgiving dinner.  There will be one American couple in attendance.  We are all doing different dishes and we will eat outside.

This morning a little black dog is wandering aimlessly around the compound, apparently lost.  If she comes back we will have to find her home.  In the meantime we are content with this fellow.

Now Pilot Knob is an area we enjoy as well and hope to be in the area a few times this winter, both dry camping and in Pilot Knob Resort.
Hope to meet up with you guys at some point.
And Lins just has to be our favorite Chinese place just about anywhere.

What's not to like is the perfect question. Enjoy!

Sounds to me like you love it there. Thank goodness you will be able to spend time in some of your favorite places.

I've never heard of anyone not liking Pilot Knob. I would have never learned about Tekali if we hadn't gone there.
