WEEK ONE IN BAGLEY

We have done so much in a week.  It seems like longer and I mean that in a good way.

Sandie took this picture as we were leaving Sully Creek campsite in Theodore Roosevelt National Park.  I like it.

We drove a long way on Monday and got to Bagley about suppertime.

Wonderful welcome hugs from David.
We got set up in their back yard and had pizza and lots of talking.

Stefani's Mom and Dad were in the area.  We got together for dinner one night.  The dinner was awful and company delightful.

On Saturday, we went to Fireside Grill and Patio which is by far the best restaurant in the whole area.  Posed for this picture before we went in.  The turning leaves are beautiful.

We have had the weirdest weather.  On Sunday it reached 94* F.  The weather brought out a plague of Asian Beetles (we thought they were ladybugs).

Looking at David and Stefani's house through the screen with a beetle on it.
But on Monday, it was horrible.  The temperature only rose to 47*F and the wind was unreal.  The rig rocked and rocked all day long.

Sunday we celebrated Canadian Thanksgiving.  Turkey and all the trimmings with 10 guests.  David, Stefani, Lizzy, her boyfriend Corbin, Nickolas, Milo, LaDonna, Aunt Alvina, Doug and I.  Nickolas made a lemon cheesecake mostly on his own.

We have been busy.  We had lunch at Applebees once.  Big mistake, we were warned but too late.  We also had drinks at the local watering hole come bowling alley.

The fun continues but today I am on strike.  I am not cooking!

I thought it was a great picture too. We had that wind on Sunday and it was incredible. Glad you are having so much fun with the family. Keep it up.

That is a lovely photo of you and Doug. Beautiful for framing.

So happy for the two of you. Nothing can take the place of being with family!
