JUST A QUICK UPDATE

I think it's time.  Everyday I think I MUST post a blog today.  What would be interesting.  Well I can't think of much that would interest y'all.

We are busy in the park.  The last two weekends were not even long weekends and we have been busy.  Busier than the last 5 years at this time.  It's not even June until tomorrow.

This is Gord.  He works for us.  He doesn't always look so goofy.

Our staff is all in place and we still have lots of maintenance jobs to complete but the park is looking amazing.  Doug and I actually get two days off a week.  Many of those days are infiltrated with park jobs like getting supplies etc but we do spend some time just doing fun things.

Shopping at the gift shop at the Nicola Ranch just down the road.  I love their natural soaps.

We have had great weather, lots of sunshine.  We have been out to dinner a couple of times and we have been up to David and Liz's house for dinner.  We are enjoying our new double recliner but must admit that we fall asleep in front of the television most nights.  That's what they are for, right?

Snapped the picture before we realized that these were our PROBLEM campers.  That's a long story for a campfire one night.

We have the swim line in at our beach and have even seen some brave souls in the water.  Right now some gigantic noisy jet boat is buzzing the swim line.

We certainly enjoy the animals in the park. Luckily no bears have been sighted yet.  Most years we don't see any.  We are waiting for the deer to bring their fawns out but for now they are hiding them away.

I am really not in a Blogging mood.

Sounds like your summer is off to a good start. Keep enjoying the good times and the recliners.

Blogging? What's that? But I figure we all need to check in with each other once in awhile. Sounds like things are really going great at the park. You guys have done an amazing job. And yes recliners have a sleep lever on the side.

We love our double rocker recliner but I blame TV commercials on our falling asleep.

We had a double recliner for 20 years but only a single one in our coach now. Had a double lined up last week but could not get it to fix in the space for it.
Blogging I do, if for nobody else a record of our days of retirement.
